Patient Solidarity day 2013

Patient Solidarity day 2013

In 2013 we are proud to report that the Patient Solidarity Day was recognised by the World Health Organisation and was marked in 10 African countries on the 30th Oct 2013. In Kenya, we marked it on 7th Dec 2013 at the Tigoni District Hospital. In attendance were patients, Members of the Kiambu county Assembly and the Public. MMF had an opportunity to share with this community the Patient Rights Charter. Assorted gift hampers were distributed to the Patients.

A Big thank you to Haco-Purity brands, who donated baby stuff for children 0-3 yrs.
Thanks to Peggy Doyle from SIM Kenya for donations of blankets and children’s items. “Gods precious angels”[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][go_portfolio id=”psdpics”][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Patient Solidarity Day is usually held on the 1st Saturday in December every year. It is a day set aside to visit patients  showing solidarity with them in what should be a season of joy and family. We accept donations which we hand out and we also try and pay bills for those who don’t have an NHIF card. If you would like to be involved in 2014 please get in touch.[/vc_column_text]
